Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to employees on hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems in a timely manner.
Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and software applications.
Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions in accordance with company policies.
Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and security patches.
Respond to help desk tickets and provide technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person.
Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
Document and maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and procedures.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in IT support and service delivery.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Familiarity with network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Industry certifications (e.g, CompTIA A +, Network +, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
