Primary Responsibility:
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- 5 + Years of experience in migrating application from On-Prem infrastructure to Azure Cloud environment.
- experience with cloud implementation and writing infrastructure as code (terraform). Ability to quickly meet and manage demand of changing infrastructure.
- experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with automated infrastructure, deployment, testing, security scans and more.
- experience with managing, configuring and troubleshooting AKS (Azure Kubernetes), VM Workloads, End -to-End Security.
- experience in managing Web servers and WAS servers in Azure cloud VM\'s.
- experience with Kafka streams
- experience in Java/J2EE applications
- Expertise in Azure Cloud administration and ability to mentor other team members on managing cloud infrastructure.
- Fluency with scripting (e.g. Bash, powershell) and operations (servers, unix/Linux) environments to understand how to implement and utilize tools, to understand partners, and to make sound decisions.
- Good knowledge on containerization (Docker, Open Shift, Kubernetes)
- Good knowledge on Terraform scripting
- Knowledge on performance testing tools
- Python Scripting expertise
- Ability to help developers for resolving infrastructure issues.
- Ability to monitoring tools and technologies (Splunk, Dynatrace, new relic)
- Ability to conduct postmortem after a production issues.
- Ability to work closely with DEV teams and define SLI/SLAs.
- Ability to act as business liaison serving as primary point of contact between application business segments and database administrators.
- Ability to design storage strategies around backup and recovery for complex Azure environments, physical structures, and specialized platform services in Azure.
Preferred Qualification:
- Knowledge on Incident, Problem and Change Management. Service Now experience.
