Primary Responsibilities:
- Performed refresh activities between various databases.
- Performed physical backups using RMAN and conventional backups in production environments.
- Implemented shell Scripts for DB backups/Health Check Reports and configure.
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- experience of migration from Oracle, MSSQL and other databases to PostgreSQL.
- experience in handling large databases, writing stored procedures, triggers etc.
- experience in installation and creation of Databases on Linux/windows platforms.
- Experienced in User and database security - Manage user accounts, roles, privileges, profiles, password security, resource usage and management.
- Good knowledge on Postgres Architecture.
- Excellent in troubleshooting, diagnostic and analytical skills.
- Ability to work as a Individual contributor.
