The Oracle Cloud ERP Platform Administrator position is role at Advance Auto Parts (AAP) that will be responsible for the administration and maintenance tasks in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and platform Cloud Services (IaaS/PaaS/Saas). The successful candidate will be experienced in provisioning and maintaining the various Oracle Cloud products SOACS, MFTCS, DBCS, OIC/ICS, and APEX, scaling up and scaling down of the services (CPU, disk space or memory), and in configuring the VCN network with public and private subnet access in a large, complex enterprise organization. The candidate must possess hands-on knowledge of admin tasks in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS/Saas) services, experience in backup and restoring the Oracle DB, experience in applying the maintenance patches, experience in managing storage, experience in environment refresh from production to test, experience in load balancer, VCN setup, ssh and pgp keys security setups and skills to coordinate with other teams to troubleshoot for Oracle Cloud platform related issues. The candidate should have knowledge of Linux commands, WLST utilities commands and scripting languages like Shell, Perl/Python and setup Cron jobs. The candidate will be a disciplined self-starter working well with technical and functional analysts, business leads and vendors. In addition, this candidate will understand how to drive value out of the Oracle Cloud ERP platform by building efficient extensions, optimize existing processes, with the intent to create a frictionless experience for our team members. The Candidate will work closely with support manager, development staff and business owners to identify and resolve issues relating to Oracle Cloud platform services.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Work with IT technical and functional analysts, production support manager, project managers, and business stakeholders to understand the needs and their requirements.
- Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. Within self and team.
- Support Oracle Cloud Financial ERP implementation during discovery, CRP, SIT, UAT, go-live and post go-live.
- Co-ordinate with internal team and external Oracle support team in handling critical issues and provide the instance and diagnostics logs for analysis and debug purpose.
- Responsible for provisioning and maintaining the various Oracle Cloud products (SOACS, MFTCS, DBCS, and OIC/ICS) and ensure all documents (OS and DB upgrade, Patching, Instance provisioning and Configurations) are in place for change or release management.
- Assist with code migration from instance to instance.

Qualifications

Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information systems is preferred.
- At least 3 years of hands on experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Cloud services: SOACS, MFTCS, DBCS, and OIC/ICS.
- 5 + Years of experience working with ERP systems (app and db servers) administration and monitoring.
- Knowledge and hands on experience with Integration frameworks offered by OIC to integrate with Oracle Cloud Saas (ERP, EPM) applications.
- Strong Analytical and technical skills is required.
- experience with either on-line or in-store retail selling applications.
- experience in large scale applications, either public facing web applications or applications with large numbers of concurrent users.
- experience with Oracle databases Oracle 11g or above.
