Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in and check-out procedures.
Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from guests and potential guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications to guest bookings using the hotels reservation system.
Provide information to guests about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Maintain a clean and tidy reception area and ensure that all guest areas are well-presented.
Assist guests with special requests and accommodations, such as arranging transportation or making restaurant reservations.
Collaborate with other hotel staff members to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in using computer software and hotel reservation systems.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Fluency in additional languages (optional but advantageous)
