Role and Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to maintain a hygienic and organized environment.

Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality and adherence to culinary standards.

Stock and restock kitchen supplies and ingredients, keeping inventory levels in check and notifying the supervisor of any shortages.

Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, checking for accuracy and freshness of products.

Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties as needed, ensuring dishes, pots, and pans are washed and stored properly.

Support kitchen staff during busy periods by multitasking and completing tasks efficiently.

Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and storage of perishable items.

Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain smooth kitchen operations and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.

Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices.

Ability to follow instructions and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.

Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as assigned.
