We are looking for a friendly and efficient individual to join our team as a Cashier at our hotel/restaurant. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner as they enter the hotel/restaurant.
Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using electronic cash registers or POS systems.
Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods in accordance with company policies.
Ensure accuracy in pricing and billing for food, beverages, and other services.
Provide guests with information about menu items, promotions, and special offers as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station.
Assist with resolving guest inquiries or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a cashier in a hotel, restaurant, or similar environment is preferred.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with electronic cash registers or POS systems.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
