Accounting Executive Vacancy in Dubai
Role and Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance.
Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations, and ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to management and stakeholders.
Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to facilitate annual audits and compliance reviews, addressing inquiries, providing documentation, and implementing audit recommendations as needed.
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize cash flow and mitigate financial risks.
Review and analyze accounting transactions and processes, identifying discrepancies, errors, and inefficiencies, and implementing controls and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices, ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations, to foster professional development and ensure team effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to support business initiatives, resolve financial issues, and achieve organizational goals.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation or progress towards certification is preferred.
Proven experience in accounting roles, with a strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive financial information.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others towards common goals.
