We are currently seeking a courteous and professional Receptionist to join our team. Responsibilities:
Greet guests and visitors with a warm and welcoming attitude upon arrival.
Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and reservations in person, over the phone, and via email.
Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to guests.
Manage guest bookings, room assignments, and special requests using the hotels reservation system.
Process payments, including room charges, deposits, and cash transactions, and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are clean, well-maintained, and ready for occupancy.
Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area, including lobby and guest service areas.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports, as needed.
Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
Proficiency in computer skills and experience with hotel reservation systems/software (e.g, Opera, Fidelio).
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and handle guest inquiries and complaints with tact and diplomacy.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options is a plus.
Fluency in additional languages is an advantage.
