Responsibilities:
Greet guests as they arrive at the hotel and provide them with a warm welcome and assistance with check-in procedures.
Register guests, assign rooms, and issue room keys while ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the guests satisfaction.
Process payments, collect deposits, and verify credit card information using the hotels reservation and payment systems.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are clean, well-maintained, and ready for occupancy.
Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area, including the display of promotional materials and informational brochures.
Assist with the preparation of guest invoices, billing statements, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Stay informed about hotel policies, special events, and emergency procedures to provide accurate information and assistance to guests.
Collaborate with other hotel staff members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience from check-in to check-out.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred but not required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
Proficiency in using computerized reservation and booking systems.
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality management is a plus.
