Job Title: Storekeeper

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a meticulous and organized individual to join our team as a Storekeeper. As a Storekeeper, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining our inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and facilitating the efficient operation of the store.

Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming merchandise and supplies.

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions using computerized systems.

Perform regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner.

Ensure proper storage and handling of products to prevent damage or spoilage.

Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the storage area.

Collaborate with purchasing and other departments to coordinate stock replenishment.

Generate reports on inventory status and consumption as needed.

Follow established safety and security procedures in handling stored items.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (if applicable).

Basic knowledge of inventory management software.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Relevant certification or training in inventory management is a plus.
