Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to end-users regarding hardware, software, network, and other IT-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and software updates on end-user devices.
Respond to help desk requests and tickets in a timely and professional manner, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
Collaborate with IT team members to identify and implement solutions for complex technical issues and system enhancements.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system backups, antivirus updates, and security patches, to ensure data integrity and system security.
Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software, including user accounts, email accounts, and network access.
Document and maintain accurate records of IT assets, inventory, and support activities using ticketing systems and asset management tools.
Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to end-users on IT best practices, security protocols, and use of technology resources.
Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT support to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role, with a strong technical background in desktop support, troubleshooting, and system administration.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office applications, Active Directory, and network protocols.
Familiarity with hardware components, peripherals, and mobile devices, as well as remote desktop support tools and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently or with minimal supervision.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with users of varying technical levels.
Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Certifications such as CompTIA A +, Network +, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
Availability to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed to support business operations.
