Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users regarding hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
Respond to support requests via phone, email, or in-person, diagnosing problems, and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, patches, and backups, to safeguard data integrity and security.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues and escalate unresolved problems as needed.
Document and track support tickets, resolutions, and procedures, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and industry best practices.
Educate end-users on IT policies, procedures, and best practices, providing training and guidance to enhance their technical skills and productivity.
Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in the IT field, continuously updating knowledge and skills to improve service delivery and performance.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
Proven experience in IT support or a related role, with strong technical proficiency in troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux), productivity software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace), and networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Knowledge of hardware components, software applications, and IT infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
IT certifications (e.g, CompTIA A +, Network +, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
Availability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotation schedules as required by business needs.
