Logistic Distribution Officer Vacancy in Dubai

We are looking for a proactive and organized Logistics/Distribution Officer to oversee the distribution and transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating logistics activities, ensuring timely delivery, and optimizing distribution processes to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee the logistics, distribution, and transportation of products.

Plan and manage inventory levels to meet customer demands and minimize excess stock.

Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to ensure efficient delivery of goods.

Monitor shipment schedules and track transportation vehicles to ensure on-time delivery.

Analyze logistical problems and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.

Prepare and maintain detailed records of inventory, shipments, and logistics activities.

Ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding transportation and logistics.

Supervise and train logistics team members to ensure smooth operations.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate with logistics partners/vendors.

Requirements:

Proven experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain management preferred.

Strong knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, and transportation principles.

Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office suite.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and negotiation abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in logistics operations.
