As an Assistant Accountant, you will work closely with our accounting team to support various financial tasks and ensure accuracy in financial records. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Posting and reconciling transactions in the general ledger and maintaining accurate accounting records.
Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payments, and collections.
Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Contributing to the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
Collaborating with other departments to gather financial information and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g, Quick Books, SAP, or similar programs) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
