We are seeking a talented and customer-focused individual to join our IT team as an IT Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing technical support to our employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
Respond to user inquiries and educate them on IT best practices.
Perform routine system upgrades and software updates.
Maintain accurate records of IT support activities.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
Familiarity with computer hardware and networking concepts.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Customer-oriented with strong communication skills.
IT certifications (e.g, CompTIA A +, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
