We are looking for a responsible School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school safely. The ideal candidate should prioritize the safety and well-being of the children while ensuring timely and efficient transportation. The School Bus Driver will be an integral part of our team, providing a comfortable and secure journey for students.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate the school bus following a predetermined route and schedule.
Ensure the bus is in good working condition and conduct regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain order and discipline among students while on the bus.
Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Keep the bus clean and tidy, both inside and out.
Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical problems to the appropriate authorities.
Attend training sessions and workshops as required.
Provide excellent customer service and a friendly attitude toward students and parents.
Requirements:
Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with a passenger endorsement.
Clean driving record and background check.
Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with children.
Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
