Room Attendant Vacancy in Dubai

As a room attendant in a hotel, your main responsibility is to ensure that guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Your duties may include:

Cleaning and Sanitizing: Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming or mopping floors, dusting furniture, and cleaning bathroom fixtures. Ensuring that all areas of the room, including carpets, curtains, and upholstery, are cleaned to a high standard.

Restocking Supplies: Checking and replenishing supplies in guest rooms, such as Towels, linens, toiletries, coffee/tea, and other amenities, according to hotel standards.

Reporting Maintenance Issues: Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms, such as broken furniture, malfunctioning appliances, or burnt-out light bulbs, to the maintenance department for prompt resolution.

Guest Requests: Attending to guest requests promptly and courteously, such as delivering extra Towels, pillows, or other amenities, and ensuring guest satisfaction with the room cleanliness and comfort.

Lost and Found: Reporting and handling any lost and found items in guest rooms in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.

Adhering to Health and Safety Regulations: Following all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals, using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Time Management: Managing your time efficiently to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and meeting the hotels productivity and quality standards.

Collaborating with Team: Collaborating and communicating effectively with other members of the housekeeping team, as well as with other hotel departments, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Following Hotel Policies and Procedures: Adhering to all hotel policies, procedures, and standards, including those related to cleanliness, hygiene, security, and guest privacy.

Room Inspections: Participating in room inspections conducted by supervisors or managers to ensure compliance with cleanliness and quality standards.

Maintaining Equipment: Properly using and maintaining cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies, and reporting any defects or need for repairs to the housekeeping department.

Training and Development: Participating in training and development programs as required by the hotel to enhance your skills and knowledge in housekeeping operations.
