We are looking for an IT Assistant to provide desktop technical support. The ideal candidate must have a good understanding of computer hardware, software, and network systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting system issues, installing software, and providing technical support and guidance. The candidate must also possess excellent technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Resolving IT support requests from employees.
• Install and configure computer operating systems, applications, and hardware.
• Monitor system performance and security measures.
• Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer system.
• Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed.
• Maintain and update accurate records of work performed.
• Carrying out upgrades and repairs to existing systems as required.
• Answer user inquiries regarding computer software and hardware.
• Provide technical advice and guidance
Requirements:
• 2 To 3 years of experience in IT support activities.
• Knowledge of various computer hardware and software • Printers and printing services • Familiarity with Windows operating systems • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
