Your responsibilities at the center include: Cues: Work assignments, responsibilities, the team, internal and external interfaces, etc. · Innovation, assessing requirements that are said and unsaid, performing proof of concept, developing solution and code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders.· Leads the work of other groups of engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects by proving pertinent documents, direction, and examples.· Mentor engineering team members on technical decision making, code reviews and enforcing engineering practices and standards.· Must effectively communicate with engineer, product and program management to bubble up status and escalations.· Effectively manages deliverables for the team, ensuring the prioritized work is planned and valuable to our goals.· Identifying short- and long-term solutions and timeline; reviewing and providing feedback for proposed solutions; and performing design and code reviews of changes.· Actively engages in product and business discussions with a technical eye for feasibility and adherence/defining overall roadmaps and architectural strategy.· Focus on improving current software development practices and standards.· Research new technologies to support Multinational Retailing Convenience Store Giant’s digital transformation vision. Fully familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and development practices.· Management responsibility of GCC Fuels team (i.e. Time reporting and completion of performance reviews) – no more than 10% of time. And your skills include: Cues: List of competences and experience required for the role · Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering· 9-12 years , System Design Skills and experience in web based large scale enterprise application.· Technical Breadth with multiple disciplines: Software engineering, Integration, Data Security, Infrastructure etc. SAFe Agile experience: from design through development, testing, implementation, production and support.· Solid understanding of Enterprise architecture, microservices and event driven architecture· Hands-on development skills and usage of key technologieso Strong skill set with 3 plus year experience with ReactJSo Strong skill set with 5 plus year experience in Spring Boot Java API and Microservice developmento Understanding of BI tools such as Power BI or Tableauo experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQLo experience with Azure Cloud Services (AKS, Azure Storage)o experience with automated unit, integration and end-to-end testingo experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment· experience with incident and problem management supporting microservices environment and monitoring tools (i.e. New Relic, Grafana)· Nice to have skills: UX Design Skills, React Native, Angular· Be able to pick up any technology like Computer Vison, ML/AI ML.· Ability to work with Jr. Level engineers to improve design; provide code reviews and feedback.· Mentorship of Junior level engineers make informed decisions quickly and taking ownership of services and applications at scale.· Ability to communicate complex technical information to all stakeholders of the project, including those who do not have a technical background and possess exceptional troubleshooting skills to assess quickly complex programming applications.· Should be self-driven, proactive (someone that can take an initiative and drive to get tasks and does not need daily directions) and should act with urgency· Must have the ability to take the initiative and ownership towards solution development. Primarily able to operate independently, with minimal supervision/direction, to take business ask, clarify details necessary with PO and navigate the solutioning to completion (Designà DevelopàDeploy).· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills· Stays on the leading edge of software development tools and best practices.· Self-directed with a start-up/ entrepreneur mindset.
