Responsibilities
Work with 7-11 Digital teams to provide data solutions for Finance, Merchandising.
Operations, Fuel, Supply Chain teams etc and on analytics platforms.
Contribute to existing data platforms and implement new technologies.
Shall work on providing real/near real time data to business users and data science.
Teams.
Develop a deep understanding of 7-11’s business data and become a domain expert.
Ensure data is distributed in a timely and accurate manner.
Make data discoverable and accessible to business users.
Ensure adherence to agile practices, design thinking, good software development.

Ensure adherence to Dev Ops practices, CI/CD principles and ensuring complete.
Automation of software deployment, releases and security practices.
Work closely with product team in understanding the requirements and continuously.
Strive towards making a better customer experience and provides the strategic direction.

Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, organization and time management skills.
Qualifications
Shall have 3 + years of experience in Big Data technologies with overall 8 + experience.
In Software Development.
Hands on experience in Orchestrating Data pipeline and bringing data from.
Traditional databases to distributed environment.
Hands on experience in Spark Data frames, RDDs using PySpark.
Spark Structured streaming experience is a plus.
Should have an experience in Azure / AWS/ GCP cloud platforms.
Shall have experience in one of databases (Oracle DB, Teradata, DB2, SQL server).
Strong debugging and problem solving skills.
Spark certification from Databricks is a plus.
Skills
experience with PySpark, Spark Data frames, RDDs.
Strong understanding of SQL, data modeling and query optimizing skills.
Hands on / Knowledge in Spark Structured streaming with Kafka / Kinesis is an added.
Advantage.
Understanding Yarn logs and optimizing the jobs performance.
Proficient with Airflow, GIT, Service Now, Dev Ops tools for CI/CD.
Experienced with designing and developing ETL/ELT data pipelines.
