Linux Systems Administrator Vacancy in Dubai

Are you an experienced Linux Administrator with positive attitude even when everything goes wrong?

You have to pay attention to Details, Self motivated and a passion to learn new things and implement.

Knowledge in GPS Tracking/ Telematics/ Web Mapping/ Mobile apps is desirable.

Maintain all Linux servers and ensure 24x7x365 uptime service. Willing to wake up and work.

Set up new dedicated and cloud servers and support developers to deploy and fine tune performance.

Maintain best practices on server maintenance, manage systems and services.

Proactively monitoring system, performance, capacity planning and load balancing.

Carry out system back ups, data backups and delivery to customers.

Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions.

Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware.

Create and modify Scripts or applications to perform tasks.

Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.

Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.

In depth knowledge of Linux: Red Hat, CentOS, Debian, etc.

Hands on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL,

Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts.

Expert in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting.
Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP.

Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE and LPIC)

Strong problem solving and communication skill.
