The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, ensuring high- quality service, and maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment for guests. This role requires a strong customer service orientation, leadership skills, and an eye for detail to help create a positive dining experience. The Restaurant Supervisor will assist the Restaurant Manager in meeting business goals and enhancing guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Follow the company policies and lead by example
Follow the company’s standard operating procedure and all sanitation.
Follow the guest standard of service – Steps of Service.
Detailed knowledge on the entire menu item offered in the restaurant. Accurately explain to the guest regarding on the method, ingredients, portion size and the side item accompany with the plate.
Observe table numbering and works in assigned area 100% of the time.
Approach each table at least once during their meal for a check back about their overall experience with us and share the views with the Manager on duty.
A walk through of the Restaurant before starting the shift and record all the areas as per the checklist and procedures.
All the checklists are been followed and maintained in an organized manner.
All the maintenance is to be recorded and followed up.
Schedule and allocate staff according to their shifts and business requirement.
Motivate self and others.
Respond positively for any guest concern, report, resolve and record.
Assist the reception area, food pick- up area, bar area and bussing area.
Stock taking, goods ordering, goods receiving inventory and HACCP control.
