The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the storage, distribution, and inventory of supplies and equipment. This role involves receiving, storing, and issuing goods, as well as maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
Organize and store items in an orderly and accessible manner.
Maintain inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
Issue supplies and equipment to staff and departments as needed.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies to ensure adequate stock.
Ensure the store area is clean, organized, and safe.
Prepare reports on inventory levels and usage.
Collaborate with procurement and other departments to meet inventory needs.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy items.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Work Environment:
Warehouse or storage area.
