We are looking for a diligent and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in Dubai. The Cashier will be responsible for handling transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist them with their purchases.
Process sales transactions using cash registers or electronic payment systems.
Ensure accuracy in processing payments, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital wallets.
Calculate and issue change to customers accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products, services, and promotions.
Verify and reconcile daily sales transactions and prepare reports.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and informing management of low inventory.
Handle returns and exchanges following company policies.
Uphold customer service standards to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong numerical and math skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
UAE residency or work permit is required.
