Accountant Vacancy in Dubai

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable and receivable transactions.

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets.

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial data and reports with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

Monitor and reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and investigate variances.

Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing processes, including adjusting journal entries and accruals.

Prepare and file tax returns, VAT filings, and other regulatory reports in compliance with local regulations.

Assist in financial audits by providing supporting documentation and explanations as needed.

Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting support to management.

Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
