Cashier Vacancy in Dubai

Responsibilities:

Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with their purchases.

Scan items, process payments, and issue receipts accurately and efficiently using cash registers or POS systems.

Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment securely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Answer customer inquiries about products, prices, availability, and promotions.

Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including removing debris, organizing merchandise, and replenishing supplies.

Follow all cash handling and accounting procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Assist in stocking shelves, arranging displays, and performing other duties as needed during slow periods.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer service.

Requirements:

Prior experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.

Strong numerical and math skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.

Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Fluency in English is preferred.
