We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Assistant. The Inventory Assistant will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our organization.
Responsibilities:
Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing incoming shipments.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Update inventory records in the database or inventory management system.
Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.
Prepare and label outgoing shipments for distribution or delivery.
Assist with cycle counting and physical inventory audits.
Coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders and meet customer demands.
Identify and report any issues or problems with inventory management processes.
Requirements:
Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in using inventory management software or systems.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment (e.g, forklift, pallet jack)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
