We are currently seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator/Assistant in Dubai. The Logistics Coordinator/Assistant will play a crucial role in coordinating and facilitating the logistical operations of our company.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor the shipment of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with shipping regulations.
Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to arrange transportation and delivery schedules.
Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs clearance forms.
Track and update shipment status in the company\'s database or tracking system.
Assist in negotiating freight rates and contracts with carriers and logistics service providers.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to shipments, delays, or damages.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse activities.
Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and cycle counts.
Support the logistics team in identifying areas for process improvement and implementing solutions.
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the logistics manager.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in logistics coordination or a similar role is advantageous.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and logistics software.
Knowledge of shipping regulations and procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
