We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our IT team as an IT Support Staff. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support to employees via phone, email, or in person, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly and efficiently.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, peripherals, and network devices.
Set up and maintain user accounts, email addresses, and access permissions.
Conduct regular system maintenance tasks, including software updates, backups, and security patches.
Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects and initiatives.
Document and maintain records of IT support activities, including troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
Train users on basic IT procedures and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Previous experience in an IT support role or similar position is preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, and software applications.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Customer service-oriented attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with help desk software and remote support tools.
Relevant IT certifications (e.g, CompTIA A +, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
