Job Title: Assistant Teacher

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Teacher. The Assistant Teacher will work closely with lead teachers to support classroom activities, assist in lesson planning, and create a positive and nurturing learning environment for students.

Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.

Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.

Supervise and engage students during classroom activities, recess, and field trips.

Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students as needed.

Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.

Collaborate with lead teachers and other staff members to assess student progress and address individual learning needs.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior.

Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Education or related field preferred.

Previous experience working with children in a classroom setting is a plus.

Passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
