Job Description:
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics and Operations Assistant to join our team in Dubai. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of logistics and operational activities within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
Assist in planning and executing efficient routes for deliveries and shipments.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining accurate records.
Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Assist in the preparation of shipping documents and customs clearance procedures.
Track and report on key performance indicators related to logistics and operations.
Support operational activities such as facility management and equipment maintenance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry and filing.
Requirements:
Prior experience in logistics or operations roles is preferred.
Proficient in MS Office applications and logistics software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of local regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
