Warehouse Assistant Vacancy in Dubai
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Assistant. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by assisting with various tasks such as receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders or invoices.
Unload, inspect, and properly store incoming inventory in designated warehouse locations.
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct items and quantities are included.
Prepare orders for shipment by labeling packages, arranging for carrier pickup, and loading goods onto delivery vehicles.
Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, stacking pallets, and disposing of packaging materials.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet Jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
Assist with other warehouse tasks and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
