Inventory Controller Vacancy in Dubai
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
Coordinate with procurement and purchasing teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock and prevent stock outs.
Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory counts and system records.
Analyze inventory data and trends to identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend actions to minimize inventory holding costs.
Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment of inventory management processes with business objectives.
Prepare reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and inventory performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies regarding inventory storage and handling.
Requirements:
Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role, preferably in a retail or distribution environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
