Responsibilities:
Assist with inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, and recording incoming shipments of goods.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, locations, and movements using manual and computerized tracking systems.
Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Collaborate with other team members to resolve inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Assist with the organization and maintenance of storage areas and shelving units to optimize space and accessibility.
Prepare and pack orders for shipment and ensure accurate labeling and documentation.
Monitor inventory levels of essential items and notify supervisors of low stock levels or replenishment needs.
Follow established protocols and procedures for handling and storing inventory items safely and securely.
Assist with the implementation of inventory control measures and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Perform other duties and tasks related to inventory management as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in inventory management or related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Proficiency in using computer systems and inventory management software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or overtime as needed.
