Job Title: Heavy/Light Vehicle Driver

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking experienced Heavy/Light Vehicle Drivers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting goods and passengers safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Responsibilities:

Operate heavy/light vehicles, including trucks, vans, or buses, to transport goods and/or passengers to designated locations.

Load and unload cargo safely and securely, following proper handling procedures.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.

Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.

Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members.

Ensure the safety of passengers and cargo at all times.

Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (for heavy vehicle drivers).

Clean driving record with no major violations.

Previous experience as a heavy/light vehicle driver preferred.

Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.

Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading cargo.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
