Role and Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods, to ensure efficient operations and timely order fulfillment.

Train, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff, providing guidance on safety procedures, job duties, and performance expectations to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Monitor inventory levels and stock movements, conducting regular cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliations to maintain accurate inventory records and minimize discrepancies.

Implement and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with company standards and government regulations.

Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and improve workflow efficiency, implementing process improvements and best practices as needed.

Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt of incoming shipments, accurate allocation of inventory, and efficient distribution of goods to meet customer demands.

Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software to track inventory movements, monitor performance metrics, and generate reports for management review.

Resolve issues and address customer inquiries and complaints related to order fulfillment, shipping delays, and product availability, providing prompt and satisfactory resolutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and operations, to support business objectives, optimize inventory levels, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency in the warehouse.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is preferred.

Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Strong knowledge of warehouse management principles, inventory control procedures, and logistics best practices.

Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory tracking software, and barcode scanning technology.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve performance goals.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and accuracy.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP systems.

Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment is a plus.
