Supermarket Cashier Vacancy in Dubai

Supermarket Cashier will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers as they approach the checkout counter and assist them with their purchases.

Scan items, enter prices, and process transactions accurately and efficiently.

Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment, and provide change to customers as needed.

Ensure that all items are properly bagged and that customers receive their receipts.

Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, including removing debris, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking bags.

Monitor and manage the flow of customers to ensure efficient checkout service.

Assist with inventory management tasks, such as restocking shelves and checking for price accuracy.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred.

Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Friendly and positive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Knowledge of cash register and POS systems is a plus.
