Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring environment, ensuring their well-being and happiness throughout the day.

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members through effective communication and collaboration.

Follow established daily routines and schedules to provide consistency and structure for children.

Assist with meal times, snacks, and nap times, ensuring children receive nutritious meals and adequate rest.

Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including sanitizing Toys, equipment, and surfaces regularly.

Observe and document children behaviors, interests, and milestones, and communicate with parents and supervisors as needed.

Adhere to health and safety guidelines and procedures, including emergency protocols and licensing regulations.

Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or certification in early childhood education or related field preferred.

Previous experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting is preferred but not required.

Genuine love for children and a patient, nurturing demeanor.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Ability to maintain a positive and supportive attitude in a dynamic and sometimes challenging environment.

Basic understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
