Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities.

Train, motivate, and coach housekeeping team members to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

Inspect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and company policies.

Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment and place orders as needed.

Schedule and assign duties to housekeeping staff, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.

Handle guest complaints and requests promptly and professionally, taking appropriate action to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to housekeeping staff to support their professional development.

Collaborate with other departments, including front office and maintenance, to address housekeeping-related issues and ensure seamless operations.

Maintain records and documentation related to housekeeping activities, including room occupancy, maintenance requests, and inventory management.

Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality management or related field is a plus.

Proven experience as a housekeeping supervisor or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and supplies.

Knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
