Responsibilities:
Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them in finding products and making purchasing decisions.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and keeping merchandise neat and presentable.
Operate cash registers and POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Promote sales and special promotions to customers, upselling and cross-selling products to meet sales targets.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve sales goals and targets.
Stay informed about product features, pricing, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers.
Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving shipments, checking inventory levels, and reporting discrepancies.
Follow company policies and procedures regarding sales transactions, cash handling, and store operations.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by supporting colleagues and fostering teamwork.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in retail sales or customer service is a plus.
Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field preferred but not required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.
Basic math skills and proficiency in using cash registers and POS systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and customer needs.
Flexibility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
