School Bus Assistant Vacancy in Dubai

About Us:
We are dedicated to providing safe and reliable transportation services for students in our community. We are currently seeking attentive and responsible individuals to join our team as School Bus Assistants. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during their bus commute to and from school.
Responsibilities:
Assist students as they board and exit the school bus, ensuring they do so safely and without rushing.
Monitor student behavior and maintain order on the bus, enforcing safety rules and addressing any disruptive behavior promptly and appropriately.
Assist students with special needs, including helping them secure mobility aids, fasten seat belts, and navigate the bus safely.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to provide information and updates regarding bus schedules, routes, and any delays or issues.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is clean, well-maintained, and free from hazards.
Assist the bus driver in conducting emergency evacuation drills and responding to emergency situations or incidents on the bus.
Maintain accurate records of student ridership, including attendance, seating assignments, and any incidents or accidents that occur during transportation.
Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge of student transportation policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with the bus driver and other school bus staff to promote a positive and supportive environment for students during their bus commute.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in child development, education, or related fields is a plus.
Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful or challenging situations.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Physical stamina and flexibility to assist students as they board and exit the bus, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record preferred but not required.
