Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and provide assistance in locating products, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized assistance and guidance to enhance their shopping experience.
Maintain a neat and organized store environment, including arranging merchandise displays, replenishing shelves, and ensuring that products are well-presented and easily accessible to customers.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods in accordance with store policies and procedures.
Monitor inventory levels, track product availability, and communicate with management regarding stock replenishment, product shortages, and customer feedback.
Assist with receiving and unpacking shipments of merchandise, verifying quantities and quality, and updating inventory records as needed.
Promote sales and special promotions, upselling complementary products, and informing customers about loyalty programs, discounts, and membership benefits.
Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues and escalating complex issues to management as necessary.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve sales targets, meet performance goals, and maintain high standards of customer service excellence.
Adhere to store policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, including compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in retail operations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional education or training in sales, customer service, or retail management is advantageous.
Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field preferred but not required; training will be provided for entry-level candidates.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers, build rapport, and foster positive relationships.
Enthusiasm for sales and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations and building brand loyalty.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on store hours and scheduling requirements.
Basic math skills and proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash registers, and other retail technology.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic retail setting.
