Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Packing and Packaging Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently and accurately packing products, ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for shipment. This role involves coordinating with various departments to streamline packaging processes and maintain a smooth workflow.
Responsibilities:
Pack products according to established guidelines and specifications.
Inspect items for defects, damages, or discrepancies before packaging.
Operate packaging machinery and equipment.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure a steady supply of products for packaging.
Maintain accurate records of inventory and packaging materials.
Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to facilitate timely shipments.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency.
Assist in training new team members on packing procedures.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Requirements:
Previous experience in packing and packaging roles.
