Warehouse Supervisor Vacancy in Dubai

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced warehouse supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record of managing inventory, optimizing workflows, and ensuring efficiency and safety within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.

Assign tasks and responsibilities to warehouse personnel and monitor their performance to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.

Train and mentor warehouse staff on proper procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse transactions using inventory management software or spreadsheets.

Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.

Implement and enforce warehouse safety guidelines, including proper handling of materials, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to safety regulations.

Optimize warehouse layout and storage methods to maximize space utilization and improve efficiency.

Coordinate with other departments, such as purchasing, sales, and customer service, to fulfill orders and resolve inventory-related issues.

Monitor equipment maintenance and repair needs, and coordinate servicing with maintenance personnel or external vendors.

Prepare reports and provide regular updates to management on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and any issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control procedures, and logistics principles.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.

Proficiency in using computer software and technology for inventory management and data analysis.

Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.

Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
