Responsibilities:

Welcome guests to the hotel with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing exceptional customer service at all times.

Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately, processing payments and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.

Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and reservations, including dining, transportation, and local attractions.

Manage hotel reservations and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guest preferences and special requests.

Answer incoming calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally, directing them to the appropriate department or staff member.

Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including the lobby and guest service desk.

Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met in a timely manner.

Keep abreast of hotel services, amenities, and promotions to provide guests with relevant information and enhance their stay experience.

Handle guest feedback and complaints with tact and diplomacy, escalating issues as necessary to ensure prompt resolution.

Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and security protocols to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in hospitality management, tourism, or related field preferred.

Proven experience as a receptionist or front desk agent in a hotel or similar hospitality setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and polished appearance.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in hotel management software and reservation systems (e.g, Opera, Fidelio)

Fluency in English; additional language skills, especially Arabic, are advantageous.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Familiarity with the Jumeirah area and local attractions is a plus.
