Supermarket Supervisor Vacancy in Dubai
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of supermarket staff, including cashiers, stockers, and customer service representatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and order merchandise to maintain adequate stock levels.
Train and coach staff on customer service, sales techniques, and product knowledge.
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the supermarket, including aisles, shelves, and checkout areas.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure product quality, freshness, and compliance with food safety standards.
Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing payroll.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory role in the retail industry, preferably in a supermarket or grocery store.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising principles.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in business management is a plus.
Requirements:
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items and stand for extended periods.
Positive attitude and a team player mindset.
Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
