Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and event planners, providing personalized service and guidance throughout the catering process.
Consult with clients to understand their event requirements, preferences, and dietary restrictions, and help them select suitable menu options.
Coordinate all aspects of catering events, including menu planning, venue selection, rentals, staffing, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution.
Prepare detailed event proposals, contracts, and estimates for clients, outlining pricing, services, and terms and conditions.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, chefs, and service teams to ensure accurate preparation, presentation, and delivery of food and beverages.
Manage event timelines and schedules, overseeing setup, service, and breakdown to ensure events run smoothly and according to plan.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for each event, including client information, contracts, invoices, and payments.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to enhance the company\'s reputation and generate repeat business.
Stay informed about industry trends, culinary innovations, and event planning best practices to provide creative and innovative solutions to clients.
Handle client inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly, striving to exceed customer expectations.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in catering coordination, event planning, or hospitality management.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, vendors, and team members.
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Proficiency in event management software and tools, such as Caterease, Gather, or Tripleseat, preferred.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as alcohol service regulations.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate client events.
Creative flair and passion for creating memorable experiences for clients and guests.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
