Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage with children in a safe and positive manner, ensuring their well-being and happiness throughout the day.

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities, games, and projects to support children cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.

Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment, including sanitizing Toys, equipment, and common areas regularly.

Assist with meal and snack times, ensuring children receive nutritious food and promoting healthy eating habits.

Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children activities, milestones, and any concerns or issues that arise.

Observe and assess children behavior, interactions, and developmental progress, and report any significant changes or developmental concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Follow all licensing regulations, safety protocols, and emergency procedures to ensure the well-being and safety of children at all times.

Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive team environment and promote continuity of care for children.

Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education and child development.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in early childhood education or a related field preferred.

Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting preferred.

Passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.

Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude towards children, families, and coworkers.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules, including working varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

CPR and first aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring)

Background check and clearances required by state regulations.
