We are currently seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our Human Resources team as an Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to the Human Resources department and assist with various Human Resources functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, record-keeping, and compliance. Responsibilities:
Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and corresponding with candidates.
Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and assisting with employee training.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, benefits enrollment forms, and performance evaluations.
Process employee status changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations, and update Human Resources databases and systems accordingly.
Assist with benefits administration tasks, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries from employees.
Respond to employee inquiries and requests related to Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs.
Assist with the coordination of employee events, training sessions, and other Human Resources initiatives.
Compile and prepare Human Resources reports and presentations for management as needed.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in Human Resources or administrative support role preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of Human Resources laws, regulations, and best practices is a plus.
